Prostate Love

Painting My Way to Healing: A Soul’s Brushstroke on Prostate Love

I never expected a painting to become part of my healing journey, but here I am. One day, I got out my acrylics and a piece of cold press watercolor paper - not with a plan, not with an image in mind, just a deep knowing that my prostate needed something beyond words. So I let go, dipped my brush in color, let my hands move freely, and something surprising happened.

At first, the idea of consciously loving my prostate felt strange and abstract. It wasn’t something I came up with on my own, but rather a suggestion from spirited advisors. They encouraged me to connect with my body in a new way; to not just focus on physical healing but to also bring in love, intention, and presence.

With every brushstroke, I wasn’t just painting, I was intending healing for my prostate by loving it. This was new. A completely foreign concept. I had never thought about loving a body part before, ailing or not.

Then, as the image emerged, I perceived the presence of The Divine, symbolically bringing love and healing light. It wasn’t just me reaching out for healing - it seemed as if it could be The Divine flowing through me, restoring, embracing, and reminding me that I am never alone in this process.

I tend to think of love as something I give to others. But what about the parts of me that work tirelessly every day? The ones I ignore until something goes wrong. My prostate had been quietly calling for attention, not just medically but emotionally and spiritually. And in that moment, through color, movement, and the presence of The Divine, I was listening.

By the time the painting was complete after several painting sessions, I wasn’t just looking at an image - I was sensing a connection. That my body and I were in this together. That healing is both a personal and sacred experience for me.

Every time I look at the painting, I’m reminded to give thanks to The Divine for filling my prostate with even more love.
